Open Access

SOCIOS provides free publishing services with all content published under the CC BY license, making research outcomes openly available and reusable for everyone.

Open Peer Review

SOCIOS enhances transparency and collaboration in peer review. To improve the quality of peer review, SOCIOS encourages authors to link data, code, and other research material.

Authors retain copyright and are free to distribute their work at their discretion (no embargo). SOCIOS sends publications to scholarly indexing services and bibliographic databases such as BASE and Google Scholar.

Metadata Discovery

Usage Metrics

Authors and readers can monitor articles' performance through metrics that track page views and PDF downloads.

No Costs

SOCIOS promotes equity and diversityin research by providing free publishing services. All content is openly accessible online, ensuring that research outcomes are available to everyone.
